Iara is a cook, graphic designer, and illustrator living in Canada. She created La Flora as a place where the things she has spent her life paying attention to — plants, images, language, the care of feeding people — could meet.

What began as a botanical tarot deck has become a slower kind of work: meditations, writing, and quiet practices for the inner life.

She is still listening to where it wants to go.
