You Are Already Here

Underneath the full day, a quieter life has been keeping itself all along — the light changing on the wall, the breath you never had to remember.

There are days that arrive already full. Before the morning has properly begun, there is a list, and the list has a list. The body moves through it. Somewhere underneath, that quieter life goes on without being noticed.

La Flora attends to that quieter life.
The one that happens while nothing is happening. It does not ask for more effort, more discipline, more becoming. It listens for what is already here, and says so — slowly, devagar, in a voice that does not instruct.

Some of what lives here is meant to be heard with the whole body — guided meditations and the letters that keep them company. Some of it, like these notes, is simply offered, free, to anyone who wants to stay a while. None of it is a task. It is all an invitation.

You do not have to arrive as anything other than what you are. The tiredness is allowed. The half-finished day is allowed. La Flora is not somewhere you have to get to. It is a way of being met where you already stand.

When you are ready, there is a meditation waiting. You might begin with whichever title calls to you — and let it meet you there.
